This afternoon I got to take Ben's 18 month pictures! Ben is our neighbor. He's just a skosh older than Hailey - poor kids...we keep trying to set them up :). He's a ham though - once he got comfy with me he was posing like a rock star. And we only had one minor catastrophy (I broke a decoration in their church!!) Here you go mom and dad - a sneak peek to tide you over :).

That's what I'm calling this little man! For Speedy Gonzalez - mommy only had to push for three minutes and he was out. So quickly, in fact, that his poor little face was pretty beat up from the quick arrival! Luckily he is all healed up now and did a great job with us yesterday! Kim and Justin are friends of ours and I was SO thrilled to finally get to meet little Connor - good job guys...he's a keeper ;).

Heartbreaker

This little man is going to break some hearts. Saturday I got to hang out with Rachel & Kevin and their beautiful little Kaden! We had a great time, even though it was chilly and super windy! Rachel I hope you like your sneak peek! I'm working really hard to get your gallery done today. Thanks so much for letting me photograph your family - you are all just gorgeous!

Clover Baby

This is my favorite image from my shoot on Monday! It was too bright for her to open her eyes too much. If we could have stayed out and let her eyes acclamate it would have helped, but she had had enough picture taking for one day:). Regardless...I still like it :). Playdate Photoshoot

Last week I got a couple photog friends together along with a couple baby friends :). I have tons of cute pictures, and I've decided to go through them by child, so here is Stratton. He's up first because his eyes are just stunning! We had a great time playing in the park for a few hours. Thanks everyone for letting us play with your kiddos!

Hopefully I can get caught up on some of my posts today! I took a much needed "Stacy Day" on Thursday. Took the day off from work, sent Hailey to the daycare, and parked myself in front of this computer all day! Unfortunately I didn't get as much done as I wanted...but I made a good dent in my to do list. Also watched "The Women" is a GREAT movie! Its about best friends...and made me really miss mine :(. You girls know who you are and I miss you like crazy! It's also got a really good message about positive body image and teaching that to our children, which I, of course, LOVE! So, here are a few images from one of the sessions I proofed on my "day off" :)

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!

Meet Aime. She is a riot! This fun shoot got rain delayed, but we made it work. Aime was having a blast jumping around in circles and twirling in tutus - being everything a little girl should be.
And AJ's not too far behind. She is just a doll! Mom is going to be so happy with these pictures! I can't wait to show you the rest!

Troopers

Thank you thank you thank you mom and dad for bearing with me! You guys were such troopers! Little baby Reese was having too much fun with us to sleep during our session. But after 3 hours, and some magic rocking from mom, we got her to sleep! It was so worth it! You'll be glad you hung in there :). Here's a little sneaky peek for you until I get done editing the session. This week is pretty crazy, but hopefully I'll have them to you by the end of the week!

Worth the wait

Zoe's mom and I have been working at scheduling this session for a few months. We finally got together on Friday and it was definitley worth the wait! Zoe is an absolute doll with the most gorgeous eyelashes I've ever seen! A huge thanks to mom and dad who stuck it out while I figured out my brand new camera - by brand new I mean I picked it up that morning :). Here's a sneak peek to tide you over while I work on the rest. Thank you so much for coming out! I had a blast!

Twins

We had twins over!! They are both absolute angels! It was definitley a challenge though! These little guys just had their own agendas, but I think we got some awesome shots out of it! It was also my first try at the wraps I made and my first time using baskets. I learned a lot and can't wait for my next set of twins!!

Meet Stacy

I'm very new to this whole blogging thing. I guess I'm late to the party because it seems like everyone's doing it. Well, lets start by telling you a little about me. I'm Stacy - or Anastasia...that's my "real" name, but I've never gone by it. But its starting to grow on me, so we'll see where that goes. My husband (Justin) and I just had our first baby girl. Her name is Hailey and she's absolutley beautiful! So I'm sure she will be the subject of many of my photog posts. Lucky for her mom, she doesn't hate the camera :). I went to school for dietetics, but I also double majored in photography, but didn't get that major finished, so I guess you could say I just took a lot of photo classes! I've been working as a dietitian for the past 2 years, and since we had Hailey, I've cut back to only 2 days a week. So that leaves me a lot more time to pursue my true passion - photography. This journey is just beginning though, so bare with me. I've been totally out of the photography world for a couple years, and I learned everything on film cameras, so this will be a learning process for me.
